I have that same problem with the 4 pound test that I use also. With my eyes now, I can hardly see the line and it's hard to find any line that size that comes in bright colors anymore.

I've been using unpainted head that I've poured for the past 20 years, unpainted hasn't seem to have hurt my catching my fish.
