There is little chance, to no chance at all, the compass will calibrate with the transducer on the barrel of the motor.

It may be the angle of the pic but it appears the 7 degree tilt built into the mount has your transducer looking up...rather than tilted down.

In my experience braid is far too unforgiving for rigging...tangles are worse, hang ups are worse and hard on rods. I use 10lb hi vis Vicious. Hi Vis Pline CX Premium would be my alternative.
