yes and it amazed me , that ding dang darn cheap thing bent out several times on large crappie before that event , it was the last fish of 70 plus on that jig and to be VERY sure it was them...

seen young crappie do it small waters before , but not sunfish , I imagine they are bring "herded" by the black bass to concentrate his targets , not totally sure though :dono

back when I met a fella with an almost limited out stringer one night on the bank.
told me he had a stringer full of BLACK crappie ! Thought WOW , there is about zero "black" crappie in that lake...

some forces of nature are a beast , some predators really take a heavy toll too .....
I mostly just harass them right rather regular to remind them it ain't safe to be in the water .....:Rofl

had the feel of mostly hype to me for sure , EVEN fork didn't get that much publicity back when ...
might be a big fish spot for crappie down the road though , sometimes they need to settle out some...

Our gobblers have quieted down considerably, ain’t heard one in week or more , 3 weeks ago they were gobbling everywhere

Sounds high side to me , but I don’t work on motors anymore, no clue on that one , some motors run with upper side noise and never have serious issues
