We lived on pecan 20 years ago and my son would ride his four wheeler back there and fish. With Gary's (Dr. Taylor's son) permission. It's a small world. Lol

I heard Hillmans ferry campground in lbl is/has put in some cabins. That would be an excellent location for both lakes as 6 or 7 ramps are within minutes.

I was spider rigging on Ky lake and a older couple decided, I was catching more than them and to fish in front of me. I circled their cork in case it isn't visible. 327698

On Ky most of the year you are fishing deep enough that rod length doesn't matter. Go with your preferences on rod stiffness as we all have different likes and dislikes about either. I fish ky and...

I always tell people to avoid double creek ramp, above Barkley Dam for the same reason. I hate that this is happening somewhere else.

It's definitely not over. I've been catching them spider rigging in 16 to 18 feet of water. A lot of the.fish are still full of eggs.

It sounds like you guys are doing about as well as anyone else. It seems on the North end every bay is different in regards to the fish location. One bay the males were in 6 feet of water Saturday...

I would add after seeing mrdux post, check out his fishing report. His reports are spot on and he usually tells you everything but the spot he's fishing.
