I have made 44 of these. They are 3' and 4' tall.
Dropping them this week in a Reservoir.
Reservoir is pretty void of any cover or brush.

Looks like I will have to put the reel inside the cradle. I have spinning reels and shorter that normal cork handles.

Neither....just rod holders...I fish two rods a lot...with cork n minnow's and get tired of just sitting the rods on the floor. Need a holder for them to get them off the floor.

Looking at these and wondering one thing. How long does the rod handle have to be to work in these ?

How do you cut your buckets in half ?

Do you always have the lids for the top half ?

What do you do if you don't have the lid.

Here is an improved one....I think this will work. Just leave them in the bucket and I have the handle in the middle. Drill some holes for bait fish and some in the bottom for concrete to get into...
