I use the Yamaha EFI 90hp (via a few isolation switches / relays) to help keep the two trolling motor batteries standard...

Might want to look at - IMO best bang for the buck
Two standard 6Vdc FLA Golf Cart Batteries
Low cost, easy maintenance, 220amp/hr
They will last 5 to 8 years without any issues when taken care...

Sounds as if I would have to dump the i-pilot if I want to interface to the HB
Thinking I will keep them separated and use the i-pilot and HB as standalone units
Can't really justify another $800+...

Not sure on your Power drive - my Terrova us2 cable is about 3ft additional feet after it comes out of the head unit down the coiled cable
