Last March 2016 - my last time in Astor - it was closed.

Has anyone ever Spec fished on the Winter Park Chain. I will be working more in Orlando and just bought a condo in the area.
Don't see many fishing reports for the chain.

I am looking for the best time of the year to go spec fishing on Okeechobee and a good guide. North or South end it doesn't matter.

Took my Dad spec fishing last Friday with Daryl Cole. We kept a couple of nice messes and had a great day!

SC I tend to agree with your statement and I am not going to chance it. New oil purchased. I decided I will fry a turkey at Easter and that way I atleast got two frys out of the peanut oil.

Well there you have it. I was a little worried about an after taste. A little fish grease is cheap.

I fried a (1) turkey at New Years and I saved the peanut oil (filtered once cooled) in a cool dark place.

Can you reuse the oil to fry fish?
