Yep, ole jackfish. They love a spinnerbait. Caught them all my life in northwest la. Funny how they haven't migrated farther south though.

White head, chart body, and orange tail is what ive known. Im sure any combination of those colors could be called a Mississippi jig.

Do you think 4 inch laminate floor slats would work for crappie beds? I have a pile from redoing my floors. They are a little on the thin side but I think they may work. Any thoughts?

I think the answer is pretty simple. The barb on the sickle hooks are much smaller. We have quit using them because of loosing fish. I tie with Aberdeen hooks only now. Get a sickle and a Aberdeen...
