Barren is my local lake so I can chime in on that one. I have also visited KY Lake yearly for about the last 25 yrs.
Barren has great crappie, bluegill and some awesome hybrid fishing. It is a flood...

UPDATE: Went back today and caught even more than Sunday. Even had 2 other boats within 15ft that we invited over to join in on the fun. 2 1/2 hrs of non stop "catching" between 5 people. Probably...

Decided not to Crappie fish after the cold front and went after the Hybrid today. Caught so many fish we ran out of bait. Probably 35 Hybrids and 15 cats. Smallest Hybrid was bigger than 3 lbs....

Water was up about 3ft as well.
