Seen 37 on the cleaning table from Cypress yesterday...said they were all 1-3 ft, jig under a cork.

The lake water is way too warm to keep my minnow bucket tied to my pier, they all die overnight. I have a fridge on the dock and was thinking maybe I could put the bucket in the fridge to keep it...

I have been having the same problem but always filled my basket, then lowered into the grease. Someone told me to keep the basket submerged and dip the fish into the oil for a second before dropping...

Strange thing is, I have a friend that was catching nice bream shallow yesterday...don't they usually go shallow AFTER the crappie?

I have been hitting Black Bayou off and on for the last week, working the shallow reeds looking for spawners. It has been slow to say the least!
