it wasn’t a very deep canal but this runout carved out a lil channel where it meets the canal. it was around 6ft deep, the rest of the bank was 3-4ft.

Made a quick trip this morning. Water was muddy everywhere but found a nice drain out with mixing water and they were stacked up. All caught under cork on popsicle jig.

Quick trip to Lake Beouf
Didnt get in the water till after 9 and the rain ran me out at lunch. Water is still really low and fish are suspended in 5-6ft of water. Two biggest on top were 14". 22 total. Lost at least 10 more...

Didn't get in the water till 9:30. After not many hits all morning I Finally broke out my jiggin pole and picked up a few hanging out in tree tops before I left.
