Fish bit good all day long only problem was the wind. Color of the day was 2 inch blue/black/chartreuse and purple rain 16 ft of water .7 to 1.0 mph.All in all had a good time with my Dad.258063

Both Bird and Lowrance make good units for SS and DS. Go and look at as many as you can and go from there. Also try not to get locked into brand specific .

Thats was me Richard . Fishing was tough for us long liners ended the day with 5 crappies and 7 small bass. Watch bass fisherman beat the banks all day and catch nothing and i couldnt keep them off...
