With the wind this weekend I might decide to give the crappie a shot, since I can't go in the ocean. Have you tried the spot you showed me yet this year?

What year is the motor

I had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with jack yesterday what a great guy. We caught probably well over 100 keeping a 2 man limit of 40 fish. We also caught a few small stripers.

I have both 2-D and the DI on mine. But I only use the traditional 2d because that's what I grew up knowing working on a headboat.

I've caught a off the neuse but never in those numbers. I think the best I've ever done is 10 or 12

Yep I live in Havelock. So I can be there in 20 minutes. If your in the area let me know. Always needing co-anglers, Sunday I was the captain, angler and net man.

Went out Sunday caught 20-25 in new bern in about 2 hours.

Little far from me. But hopefully they are biting in new bern also.

Open season is from October 1st thru April 30th

Can't find the hint lol. But I will be trying the Neuse on Saturday
