My son and I plan to be there. We aren't very good at crappie fishing but it sounds like a great time to learn some tips from the pros and meet you all.

Sounds like the same conditions I ran in to yesterday on Wylie. I very much under estimated the cold weather. We weren't dressed for it all.

Also, after last nights storm its only going to get worse.

I put in at Buster Boyd yesterday morning and went to South Point area. Stained water all the way, very foggy and lots of debris in the water. Some very large debris. Tried for crappie in Whithers...

What suggestions does everyone have on how to set up a boat for night fishing? I have a Tracker pro team 175 TF. I want to start night fishing but also want to be safe and prepared.

Can anyone tell me where to purchase minnows near Lake Wylie? Somewhere near the 49 bridge launch would be good.
