Just bought a hook7 with side image,the transducer is so long I'm concerned about snagging on stuff. Any ideas on protecting it or just mount it and go?

It,s still fun catching them and they seem to be really healthy.for the size they pull good.it at least has made me look for more places that they hide in and the new fish finder!s are amaising.

Just got home from my 3rd trip there this year ,man this lake is tough now . I would guess a 12-1 dink to keeper ratio at least for me.did manage 7to clean

went t Taylorsville yesterday far a few hours,water temp was 62-66 and good color.Caught 2 keepers 5ft deep in a cedar tree and 1 12ft deep in 25 ft on main lake,all the rest of them are still there...
