Pull cranks in this area from about 12-15 to 20’ sit back and have fun. Hit the coves too. A lot of fish are schooled up in the coves if the wind gets up.

Has anyone heard anything on Lake Ferguson? With the water dropping, figured the crappie would be biting pretty good. Thinking of going this weekend, crank, longline, or push minnows?

Yeah i went Saturday. Caught 80+ longlining with 9 keepers. All around 11”. Mostly all hit chartreuse roadrunner Head with bluegrass joker body. A lot of fun!!

What type of poles you use and the lengths? ME personally, use 10 ft crappie master wally marshal, and b and m's.. I love a very light pole and a very sensitive pole.. I like to feel every little...

if you want huge slabs, grenada or sardis.. some of the biggest in the state.. but alot of water, so crappie are going to scattered and plentiful this year
