Hey Fisherman I was useing just a jig. I do try to fish a jig and cork but hate to do fish that way.

i fish a 1/32 and some times i will put a small split shot about 12 above the jig.

Mr John I have caught a few of the Black Nose Crappie here in La. Have in most lakes that i fish very much and far as I know the lakes I fish have not been stock in many years if ever.

Well most of the time it does not matter. On two days same bait low vis green out fished hi-vis 5 to 1 so i do not use hi-vis all all poles.
