Wanda and I got a chance over the 4 th to get in a 3 day walleye fishing trip to Erie out of Huron Ohio
The first day was flat calm so we went 15 miles out to try an area known as the weather buoy....

Went fishing a favorite Barry county lake today and was rewarded with my personal best crappie
2.27 lbs and a bit over 16-1/2 inches
Wilbur must have been my good luck charm
Caught on a minnow...

Decided to try a lake I have only fished once before many years ago near Hastings
Found some really nice crappie just off the breaks in 7-10 feet of water using minnows 3 to 5 ft down
