I'm up the lake at eddy creek and have been out the last couple days and I haven't seen any fish kill up this way.

I went to the show and saw both the carp study as well as the seminar on running cranks. I enjoyed both as they were very enjoyable and informative.

Me and a friend fished the last two days on north barkely and mid ky we fished several coves and alot of gravel bottoms..We caught alot of gills as well as bass,cats,yellow perch,etc..we fished from...

It looks like a bluecat to me..its hard to judge without anything to reference by..The one in my avator weighed 40lb it was caught and released back into the tennesse river last december.

Losing early in the season and not having the bullseye on your back as a #1 ranking is really not too bad a thing IMO..The only bad thing is losing to Indiana..lol

Nolin is being held back until things become more stable down river..The Ipilots are great, they take alot of the work away from running a trolling motor..also minn kota really has great customer...

I live close to Nolin but in the past I've usually fished other lakes because the bite has always been tougher on nolin for me than lakes like barren ,rough etc..I've decided to fish nolin more this...

The water is murky from brier creek down to the dam. Its muddy when you get up toward conoloway.

If you have a problem with crappies ,gills etc overpopulating in your pond just put a few flatheads in and they will thin em out!

I said little to no competition.. the majority of crappie fishermen sit out on the post spawn bite and dont really gear up until the cooler weather sets in..

This is a great way to smoke catfish in the 1-5 lb range on a verticle smoker like the brinkman models
skin fish whole instead of filleting rinse dry and apply olive oil.
next take some lemon...
