I recall watching an infisherman show a few years ago where they shared a tip about using a very small piece of surgical tubing on your line and slipping it over the hook eye to hold the jig...

A friend of mine keeps wanting me to pull my boat to Cedar Bluff and crappie fish:yikes. I don't know anything about this lake, is it worth a 4 hr trip each way? Any advice, tips, tricks or tactics...

Used to see them all the time where the Republican river empties into Milford lake. Also seen 4 cross Grant Ave about 200 yds from the river bridge on my way to work one morning.

Might be pretty slim pickings that weekend at Milford, I'm coming in and fishing the week before that and I'm awfully hungry for some Cajun fried sac-a-lait!! ; ) lol

I'm coming back to Kansas for about a week to get my "thump" fix on!!:yikes I can't wait!!:biggrin:biggrin
