Shocking only works in moving water best with a rock bottom.It won't work in a lake,also it is illegal,Works best in rivers and on catfish.Try a sein.:D

I caught them in Ring Tail,Atleast thats what I think it is called,It is a little north of the Cemetary on the right.They were mostly small crappie,nothing over 10 inches.

18 Keepers all Crappie Today,Fished a different pit and caught a lot of small ones,threw several back today.Probly caught around 30 total.:D

The bass were 14" I haven't ate any bass for a long time,usually throw them back,not to mention one finned me so there was a price that needed to be paid!LOL:D

Could it be a Pumkinseed ?We have a lot of them in the creeks here in southern IN.

It is going to be covered in Lilypads very soon,Lots of lastyears stalks in the water,and has willows surrounding it.I don't have a depth finder so thats about the best I can tell you.

No I didn't go to Rocky point,I was just telling kycreekboy to try there,I fished Birddog pit today.

Try Rocky point in Tell City.Today We caught 18 Crappie 9 to 12 inchers,5 Blue gill and 2 Bass,Well thats what I kept,threw several back.Not to bad of a day.

The DNR says Dogwood has Yellow Perch in it,Is this true and do you catch a lot of them?

Try fishing another pit.8inch crappie seems the average on bluegrass pit.I also prefer the smaller pits:D.I didn't catch any crappie today but did catch 50 red ear and bluegill on a beetle spin.

Bluegrass is ok,I have fished interlake but it was on the private side,the bluegill fishing was awsome,bass wasn't too bad either.Never caught a crappie there though,I hear the state side has a few...

Kept 10 yesterday,5 crappie and 5 nice bluegill,they were all in deep water still.There was another guy there fishing the shallows,he didn't catch much:D
