Y'all did well. I jumped around to a bunch of spots and only fished about 15 minutes per place trying to find them. That didn't work.

The levee and Hunt roads are in great shape, weather perfect, water clear, very little salvinia except around Shad Lake,and lots of people out. Fished the bayous and lake and caught 2 white perch....

I saw a post within the last week or so on some other site (don't recall which one) where someone had caught a bunch on Larto.

You'd better double check on that no limit thing because I haven't seen anything about it. I'd suggest drifting around out from the dam in the deepest water you can find and fish close to the bottom.

I went Sunday afternoon and caught 6 good ones fishing about 18" deep along the bank. I was on the southeast side.

I crossed the lake yesterday and Stowe's Creek landing is inexcessible. Only saw two boats, fishing close together, just off Hwy 33. Figure they were trying to get out of the current.

I've never seen it this wet for this long. I deer hunt on Dugdemona River in Winn Parish and my stands have been under water nearly all season. That's never happened before.
