Water hit 53 last weekend around the 49. Fish scattered. A few shallow some on dock ends. Winds and wave action hampered the shallower bite. Should be on this weekend.

Use whatever gives you confidence. Crappie typically aren't very hard to catch. However, I have seen times when a jig without a nibble just won't get bit.
