I recently drained an old 1/2 acre pond to refurbish the fish population. Drained it down most of the way with a siphon setup using PVC pipe over the dam. Pretty slick as it runs 24/7 until it sucks...

Barring another big rain, Truman will start dropping 6+ inches per day. I wish they would hurry up and get it down - probably want to generate all the power they can.

They've shut the dam and the water is coming up ~2 feet per day.

Hi all. I live in Springfield and do the majority of my fishing around Clinton. I used to hit Truman hard, especially during the spawn - just carry an old 10' pole, a couple jigs, and a 5 gallon...

I used to fish Truman a lot - 15-20 years ago. Been kinda spoiled with some private water.
