Well with work and kids I haven't crappie fished much in the last few years. Now I have lake Oologah just down the road and am starting to try and figure out the crappie on it.
I'm not on FB so...

Anyone have any general locations to recommend for taking my daughter out in the boat for crappie?

This is my first spring on Oologah and working on learning a new lake.

I just spoke with a clerk at Denver Corner and possibly the south end of the lake will be open this weekend however at this point there is no boat traffic allowed on the lake.

been doing well boat, trying to catch those saugeye at T-bird. I hope they are open by Saturday so I don't have to go somewhere else to fish.

Yeah Boat I heard on the news the entire lake was closed yesterday, but I haven't heard if it will be open today or this weekend. You could probably call down to Denver Corner and find out.

Well found out that the shop that has the motor for sale will cut the shaft for me and still have the warranty. Needless to say I drove down there and gave them the money. :-)

I am looking at a Minn Kota Powedrive V2 that has a 60" shaft. I would need to shorten the shaft so that everything would fit under my boat cover.

Has anyone ever done this on this type...
