Sounds like Bumblebee except orange, look at jiffy jig hotgrub. I fish them and they are yellow black with firetail more red than orange.

Google The lodge on oconee is on water with docks. It is in Lick creek, look at your map for Sugar Creek just up lake from Lick both great creeks. For march long line cover lots of water with jigs...
