Get as much motor as you can afford. I had a 16 tracker with a 25hp that pushed me fine but always wished for a bigger motor when someone fished with me.

Sounds like you have the require WAAS option checked. I had a buddy that I had to fix his because of that. Of course I had to copy all his waypoints to make sure they were accurate also.

Does the puck have a clear view of the sky? Maybe check the connection to your unit in your mount. Wait a second that's an internal antenna isn't it? I would call Humminbird directly.
