That is a nice catch. We're new to this lake and we were shore fishing and got skunked yesterday. We do plan to get our boat up from LA in the coming months.

What were you rippin' em' with at the creek? I haven't been out there for about 4 years, and the ones we caught were okay, but nothing near a "SLAB". I used tubes & minnows back then.

Amen to that, I'm just glad you live where you can put a boat in your driveway. I live in the Indianapolis area and boy, do some people throw fits. They say we "may" bring down the property values...

Has anyone here ever fished with the rosey red minnows and had any success? I read that they are very hardy.

Darryl, what do you feed them to keep them alive? Is there a specific type of fish food for them or just the standard issue pet store fish food?

Can these minnows be kept for extended periods in an aquarium? If so, I may give them a try. This is for when you can't get out to fish or when you don't fish them up.
