Default Humnbird 360 mega or 360 live

Anyone have one or thinking of ordering one of these? I need to know if you had both can you run one above the other on the TM? Been thinking about the use of these for staying on fish the same as live scope guys do. All opinions welcome.

Ron I have had a mega 360 on order for 4 months and it finally arrived on Saturday. I am not able to use mount that came with it so I ordered a mount from fishing specialities and hope it will get here by the weekend. Then I can get it mounted and wired. I am waiting on a bird 10 in helix to come in from bbg marine and then I will have my boat fixed like I want it. I will have 5 fish finders with Garmin live scope and hummingbird mega 360. I have a Garmin 93+ with the livescope and a bird 10 with the mega 360 one the bow and a bird 9_si and lowrance 8 for mapping on the console. On the stern I have a Garmin 9 for when pulling jigs. Once I get it all set up I will be happy to meet you at whyle and let you see how you like it.

Man you got it going on with all that equipment. Yes it would be good to see it in action.
Then again Remus is suppose to be planning a trip for all of us to go some where. Maybe we can convince him to look that direction. It's been a long time since we were down there for a fishing road trip. Time before my last trip to see Sea Ray was with you'll looking for perch and a red roof! LOL

I don't mind coming up there to fish. I am finally feeling good enough to travel and fish again. I have had a rough go with my heart last year and most of this year. Hoping that they finally got all my medicines adjusted. Shame a man has to take 15 to 18 pills a day to live but that's life. My jump starter is working fine it lights me up every now and then. Fun fun

I hate it to Don. I just had a heart procedure yesterday. They cleaned all the old vessels out and now I'm suppose to be able to jump for joy instead of falling face first in the furniture. I'm going to wait a while before I go to fast!

I had 2 cardiology appointments today at the va. They checked my fibulator for function and everything looks good. It records my heart function 24/7 and I had 3 minor events this last month but not long enough for it to shock me. So that is looking good. Blood pressure and everything else is okay. Once I finish with boat I am going to hit the water.

I’ve got the 360 mega and I like the imaging and being able to locate structure and fish while trolling. On the Helix 9 the picture is really good!
Now the downside for it is that it won’t tell you your depth reading while it’s going. The only way to tell your speed is if you split screen with your maps or you have to rely on your iPilot remote.
Also, I learned this on our build. If you get the one that mounts to the trolling motor, you may have to order the additional cable extension. There wasn’t enough transducer cable to go from the bow to the center console on my boat. If you’re mounting the monitor to the bow you’ll be fine.
    Finally some pics for reference.

Dawgg, glad to hear youre doing well now. Continued improvement for you!

FT, is everything behind the little boat stuff youve passed by or what?!? Doesnt appear there's anything in the picture on the bottom half of the screen? How is this much different (other than appearance) than side scan?!?

I am going to make mine portable so I can move from boat to pontoon and it will have its on monitor that moves with it. I got a 20 volt craftsman battery converter in today to power it. I got to figure out a mount and battery holder for the bird. I want to be able to move it to different locations when trolling and tightlineing. Anybody got any ideas. I am using the fishing specialities mounts to be able to move transducer.
