FT, is everything behind the little boat stuff youve passed by or what?!? Doesnt appear there's anything in the picture on the bottom half of the screen? How is this much different (other than appearance) than side scan?!?
Yes, so I had spotlock on when taking that picture so boat orientation on the screen isn’t accurate to the image. The bridge ruble was behind me when it took the image, that’s why it casts the shadow like side imaging will do.
Side scan is a constant “beam”, sending and receiving feedback. 360, operates like radar. The bottom of the transducer is in constant rotation and you set the speed or rate of rotation. The image won’t refresh until the transducer rotates back around.
Now for longlining I do t set mine for 360*, I adjust it for 180* so I see everything 65-75’ out the front and off the side of the boat.
Hope all of that makes sense.

Yes it is the mega live. I just got my 10 in bird in and will get it set up tomorrow. I got to go to the va shortly to get hearing aids adjusted. I am serious if you want to see it work just let me know and I will come up there. I need to go to Cabelas so that will save a trip.

Hold on until I'm stable enough to take it to the water. I am ready to get me one to add to my helix 12 mega plus. Was thinking of getting a 360 mega also. That would be awesome.
    Thanks Don!

Ron I told you wrong mine is the 360 as I already have live scope on the boat. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Thanks BigDawgg thanked you for this post
