    Default Saturday Nitestalk

Well another nite in the books. Had a good turnout last night. 8 crews came out to give Mr. Crappie a hard time. With several newcomers in the mix the battle was on! Everyone took off to their secret honey hole to show em who is the boss. Every boat came back with fish to weigh. Only problem was there was not 1 fish over a pound! The future for crappie on Wylie looks good. Every boat saying they caught 25-50 fish. Only 8 or 9 keepers per boat. Surprisingly only a handful of perch. Most fish caught in 20-25 fow. Minners were the bait of choice. I actually caught 2 on Dawgg Snacs. Everyone had fun and weather was great. Just wish the big girls would have cooperated. But that’s fishing. Thanks to everyone who came out . Anybody wanting to try nitestalk should come on out and see what it is about. Doing it again soon so keep checking for the post! And by the way , the winning fish left early so he didn’t weigh. But his picture tells the story. Will try to post his dead well shot. Gotta figure how to get it here.

Glad I made it out with Ferlon to watch him fish and hate Grady couldn't make it out with us. We had fun solving nothing and agree to continue down our road kicking the can. We calculated that it's been well over a year since Ferlon had been fishing with us. He caught all the fish but two last night that went into the cooler. The touch hasn't been lost! I picked the wrong spot to go to as usual. Next time! I'm following TurkeyfootNC and keep his secret spot secret.

I didn't get any pictures but I had a great time. Enjoyed meeting some new faces and seeing others again. Hate Grady wasn't able to make it out with the group this time. Maybe on your next visit back Grady? We do miss you around here.
The weights were supper close at weigh in time.
Congrats to everyone that came out caught fish and made it back safely. I can't wait for the next gathering and like Olefish said hope to see some bigger ones come out and play.
My fish was from 18 to 24 fow just off the bottom mostly, with a few coming suspended about 15fow.
    Until next time y'all.

Sorry I had to leave early, work and stuff at home got to me and it was about nap time, just didn't want it to happen on I-77. I tried a fairly new spot, generally speaking bite was slow but in spurts. Not many small ones but I did miss a few. Most of these fish came late just no big ones. Got a few things going on in the next couple weeks so after that I should be ready to fish again

great time last, but next time I'm bringing some super glue. If I had glued twenty of those small ones together I would have had a one pounder for sure and took big fish honors

Glad everyone got on some fish. I got a nasty burn on my face and the Doc said to stay inside to keep the fresh meat clean. We will be back around Thangsgiving. Hopefully there will be a few crappie left to catch. Hope to see everyone then.

Good weather, good friends, and biting fish. Sounds like a winner to me! Congrats to all that went.
