    Default One Of My Favorites...

...for dinner tonight. Wifey likes fillets and I just LOVE fish on the bone. On one of my last days off work I fished one morning and boated 47 crappie. Most were small but I did manage a couple meals to bring home.....the kind we both like.

Now I'm miserable because I done ate too much!

It’s been a long time since I had one on the bone. We always filet them. I’ll have to see if we can revisit that!
    Thanks for the idea.

Good looking meal Butch. As often as I fish you would think I’d eat fish all the time, but when cooking for one, (wife not a big fish eater) it’s not worth the effort. My craving for fish overrides my lack of desire to cook at times and I’ll eat fish three times in one week as was the case last week. I truly love fresh crappie and could eat them a couple of times a week every week if I wasn’t so lazy. lol

Butch, I haven't seen a report from you recently.... Is everything good?
FYI, still catching them off the dock at the house. A buddy was there this week and caught 11 on Wednesday.

Still fishing some Chris, just moved on down the lake some to get away from the mud and trash. Will try getting a post up tonight over the last two days.
