Hey I'm planning a trip to Santee and while there I was wanting to go through the lock. Wondering if some of you SC guys could give me best location to stay and launch a small boat 17ft? I was wanting to stay as close to the lock as possible

Thanks Country, I have a really good friend that has did some guiding on both of the lakes down there for the past 30 years he really knows them well I'll probably stay at his place in Cross for a day or two and then maybe find somewhere while I'm there. I did talk to someone from Hills and they said it was about a 30 minute boat ride from their landing. I guess I probably need to go ahead and download Moultrie on my Helix also. Depending on how the fishing goes I may take some vacation time from work and stay the whole week. Thanks again, Hope you tear em up.
