    Default Monticello sub impoundment

Anybody ever fish the sub impondment???

With all this rain, I'm thinking about giving it a try for perch, crappies & cats. I know that gas motors are not allowed but that's about all.

It's been a few years, but I used to fish it a lot. There was awesome crappie fishing, but like I said, it's been a few years.

Never fished it, but years ago I know there were a lot of crappie in there. A good many bass too.

best i can remember from many years ago you could only use artificial bait
and only fish in it on Wednesday and Saturday. don`t know about now but back
than it was packed full of crappie.
if you want to go sometime and need a tag along let me know and we will go
give um heck and find out what's in there
Fish tremble at the sound of my name
