    Default Clarks Hill

Coming down after Easter and was wondering if Striper had moved upriver yet? Anyone catching any around Bobby Brown yet? Thanks for any information on water temp, color and fishing report.

From my back yard I can see the straightaway below Anthony shoals. There was a lot of traffic in and out this weekend. I’d guess someone caught a striper or two and word has got out.

I’m not gonna spend much time up there for a few more weeks. Then it should be game on!

We went up there last year and there were so many boats we did not fish. We went out to main river instead of fighting all those boats.

A guy that works where I do said he went up towards the shoals this past weekend and caught a couple smallish hybrids @ 2lbs each. IMO he doesnt know a whole lot about fishing. He said a few people were up there catfishing.

With this cold front it will probably drop to 53*-54* (guessing), maybe lower. The last day I was on the lake it was 56.5* at daylight last Thursday.

If it doesnt the crappie will spawn deeper. It could get too hot in the shallows. By the looks of them they aint ready to lay yet. JMO............
