    Default Need advice for fishing Santee for shellcrackers


    Have always wanted to fish for shellcrackers down at Santee.Going around the 3rd week in March and staying at Angel's. Any advice on were to start fishing in that area and techniques will be much appreciated. THANKS!!

    You’ll be a little early as April typically is best month. Fish the saw grass and dense cypress tree groves for best results.

    Thanks Ink!I'm thinking worms would be the best bait .Do you think bobber or throw it on the bottom?

    Definitely worms, both techniques will work, most fish with a bobber.
