All I've heard is scattered in mouth of creeks, not to sure but I'd guess up lake.

I fish Murray a lot and post occasional reports. I used to post a lot more than I do now, but I don't seem to have as much time on my hands these days. Murray, from my experience, has been very hit or miss for the last month. Fish up the rivers have been hit hard by cold, rain, and muddy water. Fish down the lake are a little sluggish too. It seems like everything is a little bit behind this year but it should pick up very soon. I fished last Saturday in the Big Saluda river and only managed to catch 5 by 11 AM, but did have a few good ones. The fish are definitely present in all the likely areas, but they have a case of lock jaw. The jiggers and casters have had the best luck from what I've heard. The majority of fish I've heard caught are on bridges and docks from Dreher Island up.

Don't know if it qualifies as a report, but Steve Comalander AKA The Old Fisherman, has youtube videos out about every other day on perch and crappie caught at Murray. Location of fish is another matter!

Ink, we are doing well. Just wide open, as usual. Our oldest, Raelyn, is 5 and has started kindergarten this year. That’s been a chore given the current climate we’re living. Brantlee is 3 and she’s already showing signs of being the wild one! We’ll have our hands full with that girl in the future. Weston is 8 months old and growing like a weed. I was re-rigging trolling poles the other week and he got a hold of my 12 footer. I thought he was about to break it, but I think he was saying “Dad, I can handle this thing!!!” I’m just waiting on a little warmer weather to get the girls out on the water. They’re chomping at the bit to go and I’m pretty happy about that!

So glad to hear the kids are doing great. Those Middle children will test the parents patients for sure. Good to hear from ya. Stay safe and well, better weather is just around the corner.

Marinas and private docks have been good in numbers but not big fish (10”-13”). Brush piles have had bigger fish but haven’t had the numbers. Next weekend should be the big uptick that we’ve been waiting for at Murray and Clark’s Hill....should be fun
