I’m looking at Tuesday afternoon. Forecast very promising.

They are out deep in the mouths of creeks and stuff

I had a rough go of them last Saturday. Caught a few but couldn’t stay out of them perch.

Neil, I would tight line in the mouth of the creeks as Wylie said. Active creeks such as Crowders ought to be pretty good. I would go as slow as I could according to the wind. John Hammett and myself on last trip were circling around at .3 mph until the wind caught us and we adjusted to it. You'll find them just keep at it. 25 foot was our ticket with fish at different depths. Some at 11 foot and some close to the bottom.

Thanks guys. I'll be fishing in the Belmont area tomorrow. I know of some deep places around there, and I'm hoping they will be holding fish. Crappie or Perch are fine with me. If I catch a slimmer or 2 that will be ok too.Anybody
Haven't fished that area since middle of last year. Been learning on Allison Creek.
Just looking to wet a hook and get out of the house.
Thought about going to Fishing Creek or Monticello for a try, but Momma said not this weekend.

Still don't know if I trust my fish finders. Deep side is good but I never see anything other than blobs that looks like clouds.
I'm guessing bait fish but haven't seen any arches or anything close.

If you just wanna catch some fish go to Norman. Water is getting clear and the small fish are chomping. Name: IMG_3248.jpg

    Wow, good numbers for sure.
I haven't been to Norman in years.
Probably not to bad in the winter for boat traffic, but never did any good when I fished there years ago. Guess I need to give it a try sometime soon.

What part of Norman do you suggest. Not asking for spots just a general area like Slanting bridge area or Stumpy Creek area.
Thanks for any help you are willing to give.
