Rockefeller Friday
Well, decided to make a run down to Rockefeller yesterday and get a little salt in my veins! Motor started good and ran good to the first stop. Had a little bit of a time getting it to start to the second stop. Little more difficulty after leaving 2nd stop, so I decided I would try closer to the launch. Well halfway to the 3rd stop, motor makes a noise and loses some power. About 30 seconds later, motor STOPS! Oh well, that's why I keep my battery charged for the trolling motor! Start trolling back to launch. Get about half way back and a couple I met at 2nd stop were kind enough to tow me back! Well the boat is now in the shop, we wait and see now. Did manage to catch my limit of shrimp (25 pounds) and 2 dozen crabs so it wasn't all a bust! Last picture is my ride of shame! lolAttachment 494390
