Awesome
I did warn Slab be careful what you wish for concerning these personal Blogs. LOL.
Here is my 2023 Production year wines. All are Bulk Aging right now, some fermentation is still taking place but the Specific Gravity is all of these is stable. Wine ages better in Bulk.
I'm already into them this evening so my pictures are a little substandard but I'm posting anyway. That's what Country Wines do to you and for you.
We have Peach, Satsuma, Lemon, Raz-A-Rita (my own creation Raspberry-Ripe Key Lime), Blueberry, Mayhaw-Fuji Apple, Triple-Tail (my own creation again Blueberry-Plum-Meyer Lemon)
Numerous, well some steps are left before consumption so I will be back on this Blog when I start Filtering & Polishing.

I would caution you about making wine from wild fruits , it comes at a price if you pick without looking carefully FIRST ....
mustang grapes are a wine making product employed in these parts ....
but be very sure look before you pick ....just saying
looks like you got the winery thing going on .....very cool ...
custom small wineries are in abundance these days in Texas ....
we got one about every corner once you go a bit west of dfw ....

Too funny. We were Dove hunting, first split, I'm out there with my trusty Browning 525 Sporting 28ga observing the birds noticed a uncovered flyway to the field. Wearing a pair of Carhartt Bibs and a Camo T-Shirt I eased out in the brush (waist deep on me) and stopped where the birds were passing. I kept hearing a buzzing sound not knowing where it was coming from. Well I looked down and I had a Guinea Wasp nest right in my crotch. They didn't buzz off the nest up to where I could see them but they were mad me leaning against their nest. I stepped back and put 3/4oz load of #8's into the nest removing it from my hunting spot. Actually removing it completely, I looked for pieces but there was none to be found.
So everyone knows, with very little investment a decent drinking bottle of wine cost about $1.50 a bottle to make if you have a fruit source. The fruit really runs up the cost, why we have so many trees, vines, etc. If anyone needs links to supplies as a game for me I shop the supplies to death so I know who has the best price pretty much daily. Wine can be made out of just about anything, if it tastes good to eat it will taste good to drink. The alcohol percentage can be difficult to control, Country wines made on a 3#'s Fruit - 3#'s Sugar - 1 Gallon water is going to be 15-19% Alcohol by volume. I drink over ice the strong stuff.

Looks like some fine drinking

235 bottles for about $265. I bought better corks as some of the earlier wine corks when opened you could see they were going to leak. May take 2 years but they were heading in the wrong direction. Boy if we ever have a site wide get together none of us will be able to drive. LOL
We lost the entire crop of fruit this winter along with 4 trees during that late freeze so this batch has to last. Satsuma trees and Lime trees are loaded so Raz-A-Rita & Satsuma wine will be it for this winter.
