Default They say build it and they will come.

With the weather being hot and the crappie bite slow, I decided to try my hand at building a rod. Quite a learning experience. Fun but yet frustrating. It is nice to be able to say " I built this" Now hopefully they (the crappie ) will come.

Thank you all for the feedback. The rod blank is a CRB 7 foot light with M/F action, Winn split grip, Fuji standard spin reel seat and Fuji model LY guides. Being new to this I hope these are the details that you were asking about
DockShootinJack. I used a CRB hand wrapper and rod dryer. I used it for the first time yesterday evening and it even caught a couple of fish.

Looks like ya got a MILLER CARROT STIK! Worth the effort!! You should try to make the ~11-6-21~ Crappiefest event on Lake Monroe.
