I have not built on that exact blank but I have built a couple hundred on JDM blanks. Is your question about just that blank or a JDM blank in general?

Hi, just that blank. I saw a video on the 5'10" UL that bent the
blank to the tip without breaking.

Most of the JDM Blanks in that class have a solid tip, witch helps them not hair line crack when bent like your talking about. They how ever are easy to brake when dropped against the boat gunnel. Trust me on that one myself and 3 customers all have done the same thing. They are very thin walled and it doesn't take much to crack them and I would never suggest you try that stunt, of bending that rod like that.
