Nice. I'm getting ready to wrap one if those myself. Built the same series in the 5'4" last year. Liked it so much I decided I wanted a longer one!
This UL rod was finished September of last year minus the decal. I've built this type of rod several times. A family member or friend fishes with it then asks me to build them their own. I end up gifting them the rod. I love fishing this rod.
It's a Rainshadow Revelation, 6'8", 2-6lb, 1/32-3/16oz.
Poor pictures made with cell phone and unsteady hands.

There’s just something about a old school clean no frills build that just looks sleek. I think all the fancy wraps take away from the build myself. Beautiful work.

Good looking fishing stick, there.
I like the handle most. My bigger than average hands aren’t comfortable on some of the minimalist handles used these days and that handles looks like it would fill my hand and be comfortable. Can you give some info on what it is and where I would be able to find it? I’m kinda new to some of this stuff but I have a 6’ blank here that I just can’t begin on because of the handle I bought not appealing to me. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the compliments.
Gbcorley I don't build as many rods as you do. Fancy wraps are not something I do as I don't have the skill or patience. I make mostly fly and light freshwater rods, and try to keep the rods as light as possible. If I build saltwater inshore rods I'll probably try some cross wraps. Oh yeah, eventually I'm gonna build on a JDM blank with a solid carbon tip.
Skeetbum I'm also not a fan of split grips. I have arthritis and prefer a fuller reel seat and full length handle, it's more comfortable. The carbon fiber grip is made by CFX. It's the 8.75" spinning model. It's designed to fit inside the American Tackle Aero reel seat. The grip and reel seat were purchased from Mudhole.
