Dipping is when u have a long sensitive rod, u leave about 10-15 foot of line out and u pick it up and drop from tree to tree

I wasn’t on board with it when I won it, but I have a Sam Heaton Super Sensitive in 10’ with the rear reel seat. Fast forward a couple of years and I wouldn’t take anything for it. The action is what I would compare any blank to, is why I bring it up. No better way to fish, especially in deep water. I like a fly rod too but there’s time for dropping a jig into their bedroom.
