    Finally going to get to start my personal build! It is going to be the extreme light weight rod build. 7ft rod geek light fast carbon2 (exact same blank as st croix SCIV) all carbon fiber minimalist furniture and nano micro guide set. Should be one sweet sensitive beast

    Thread work is simple cause the purpose of the rod is to be extremely light

    Nice work. Like the weave and the winding check. Nice touches. Bought a 6’ house blank cheap and a few of the parts, have a set of guides. That will be my next one. Hope it looks close to as nice as yours.

    Got it in epoxy this evening and she looks real good. I was at a local tackle shop after the mens conference and picked up a slick smooth reel that matches perfectly, so I'm excited to wet a line soon!

    Dirtrider, Gorgeous set up, love the colors you have picked. Always wanted to build my own, but have no knowledge of going about it.
