Default Stumbled upon a wonderful surprise

So I've been a member of cdc for some time now and I just in the last 5 minutes stumbled upon this niche of the forum.... I'm excited about it since I start ed d building rods about 2 months ago or so, now I have a place to ask other rod builders about CRAPPIE rods without the judgy crap from fly rod and bass rod guys.

Welcome to the madness lol. Any questions you have don’t be to pm me. I build a lot of bass and inshore rods and honestly crappie rods are harder to get right. The lighter the action the more every guide and wrap changes it. So all I can say is start simple and worry about keeping it clean and tight . The fancy stuff will come as you begin to understand how the thread works and reacts as your working it.

If you run into to something you don't understand, or have any questions at all, this is the place to get the answer. Someone usually has the answer, or can point you in the right direction to find it...Good luck and looking forward to some pic's of your builds and the fish they catch...

Welcome from Central Florida. I’m just a rookie too, and have a pile of parts waiting for me to get off my whatever and get em done. Fishing been just too good lately. I’ll help when I can, but will mostly defer to these guys that know their stuff much better than I do. They have been a big help to me.
