Had a good morning I picked up 15 nice Crappie thes morning on jig's. Just had to go because I changed out my trolling motor, changed from a Motorgice to a Minkota and I sure liked it. All these years I never have had any thing but Motorguide no complaints with them just wanted to try Minkota .
Nice going with the fishing! I'm sure that was a chore - have to go to
the lake just to try out that new motor ;) I bet you will like it,
MinnKota - had one of their deckhand electric anchors on the last boat
I had, broke some stuff on it (my fault) I called them up, and they knew
just the parts I needed from my description over the phone, gave me
a price, and I ordered them - nice service - and this was the first lady
who answered the phone, didn't have to wait or be transferred, nothing. :)
Note to self - if I ever get another deckhand with the integral anchor (18lb)
don't take off down the lake in a heavy chop without locking the anchor into
the housing - will bust the gears out of the drive unit!
