Poll - Annual State Park boat launch/fishing fees?
It was suggested to me by the honorable MooseIam to start this thread, :)
How much does it cost in your home state for an annual pass?
In MS, it is : annual, under age 65 - boat launch/fishing, $80
boat launch/skiing, $100 :D
daily boat launch/fishing is $7, skiing $10
I have not had one of these since they were $50, has not been that long
ago. Geez, they are insane! They should clean fish and have free hot dogs
for that. And hold your boat while you park. You can get in to mountain bike
or ride your horse for $30 annually - this just ain't cricket. But we have
never been known for good state laws. Chaps me too, the two places I
launch in AL and TN are FREE  And how the highway turns to potholes
as soon as you cross the state line coming this way. But it is home, still
like it I guess. I was just talking this weekend too, about how a traveling
sportsman in this area gets hammered, At one time, I had MS resident,
AL and TN non-resident, and Bear Creek Development Authority licence/passes at once. We have reciprocal agreements with TN/AL,
but they don't extend very far up or down the lake (Pickwick) Also, if
you fish some of the Nat'l Forest lakes, that is a whole 'nother can of worms,
they are Federal, with their own fees, as is the Tenn-Tom and the big
watershed reservoirs, (Army Corps), another SEPERATE yearly pass.
