I hate the weather

Last weekend was the trout opener around here, i was over across the state at the border with Idaho for a jazz band festival so i wasn't able to make it out fishing. Since i wasn't able to get out last weekend i figured i would go try one of the trout lakes with the fly rod, or if nothing else break out the spinning gear for perch. Then this heavy wind kicks up so if i had gotten out my pontoon would have effectively been a sail boat (i dont know how to sail). I guess there is always hope for next weekend.

Hang in there Shooter, spring is right around the corner! 'Course round here, spring is the windiest time of the year. Oh well, can't catch any fish sittin' on the couch.

Wind is tough around here too. March is always windy on Lake Nimrod.:(
