Thanks in advance.
Read thru ALL of this, good info ... even if it is a few years old :
Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources - Kentucky Lake - Crappie Movement Study
Also ... there's KY Lake (KY) and KY Lake (Tenn) .... same lake, just runs thru two states. :p Daily Creel limit on Crappie in the KY portion = 20/person/day .... in the Tenn portion = 30/person/day. Ky has just recently redefined what a "Possession limit" is, in KY waters ... 1 angler x daily limit x number of consecutive days fished = possession limit (but they must be cleaned fish ;) ) You cannot have more than 2 days limit of live or unprocessed fish, in your possession, at any time (so clean them daily, or else eat some while camped :D )
Where you stay will depend on what part of the lake you intend to fish .. lots of on water camps, local motels, state park lodging facilities, etc. And they will fill up, so get your lodging choice squared away soon ;)
... luck2ya ... cp
